Job title of the line manager: Supply Chain Manager / Customer Supply Chain Coordination Manager

Responsibilities:
To guarantee OTD (On Time Delivery) to customers by managing forecast quantities and lead times within a given Customer/Product scope.
To act as the interface between on-site departments, ADV (Sales Administration) and customers to anticipate any logistics-related risks.

  • Perform some or all of the following activities:
  • Be responsible for the reliability of customer needs incorporated into the ERPAnalyze the evolution and reliability of customer needs (forecasts, consumption, shipment frequency, completeness, horizon) jointly with the planner and report any discrepancies to the customer if necessaryIntegrate and maintain the forecast need in the system over the planning horizon, based on the need transmitted by the customer and the Industrial and Commercial Plan, as well as additional needs (new programs, modifications, spares, replacement)Estimate the forecast delivery turnover within his/her portfolio and alert the sales admin manager of any missing prices in the ERP Ensure OTDEnsure that the products are made available on time to meet customer needs, identify potential risks of lateness and alert his/her line management in the event of driftIn the event of a risk of lateness, if necessary negotiate quantities/deadlines of firm orders, inform sales admin and be transparent with customers regarding delivery forecastsConvey the voice of the customer internally: transmit priorities to the factory by providing the data required for decision-making and liaise between the various departments to meet delivery deadlines (reminders, priorities, etc.)Establish a relationship of trust by participating in periodic reviews (customer, customer SC coordinator, sales admin)Establish and manage any remedial plans in agreement with his/her line managementRecord the root causes of advances/delays on a daily basis and collaborate the OTD with internal customers (inter-division/inter-company flow)Provide support in the handling of logistical disputes (customer reception dispute, returns, etc.) Optimize OTD performance, inventory level of finished productsReport on the progress of the programs, fill in the monitoring indicators (OTD, turnover, level of coverage, rate of collaboration), contribute to analysis of the results and alert in the event of driftFor VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) items, maintain the replenishment plan for consigned inventory, analyze discrepancies, collaborate to ensure LOS and maintain VMI-related parametersAnalyze the root causes of lateness and contribute to developing and monitoring cross-functional action plans to improve OTD performance Other activitiesIn the program start-up phase, coordinate the implementation of logistical actions meeting customer/internal requirementsContribute to decisions relating to the application of technical modifications throughout the process (industrialization, series, end of life) to limit the risk of obsolescenceContribute to periodic analysis of the reliability of logistics parameters (customer/manufacturing batch size, inventory and safety periods, product cycle time) and inventory levels in liaison with the planner, scheduling, program and the Technical Data department. Propose optimization solutions to his/her line managementAnalyze and update logistics data related to configuration management For service-related organizational reasons, the Customer Supply Chain Coordinator may also provide support in carrying out the tasks of the Scheduler and/or Planner. Activities need to be adapted for employees on work-study placements (professionalization contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to be in line with their training.
  • 2/3-year degree-level qualification
  • in quality and industrial logistics
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience for level 1
  • 5 to 7 years’ experience for level 2 (carrying out major assignments on a financially important customer/product portfolio, coordination of logistical actions within the framework of strategic program start-ups, etc.)
